Text templates are setup just like Word templates. Differences in function are seen only after the document is opened and edited within a text environment, and are described below:
| • | If the Physician practice uses the Scribe text platform, rather than the Scribe Word platform, the auto-populating tags will cease to function when the document is opened and edited outside of an MS Word environment, as the auto-populating tags are converted to text upon "Save". |
| • | All data auto-populated on the MT side will be retained when the document is opened and edited in text, but all further edits to the demographic data will need to made directly within the document. If the document is rejected back to MT for modification after being edited in a text environment, the tags will no longer be functional on the Scribe MT platform. |
