Welcome to the Scribe MD Platform Administration Support Area. In this area you can find
help to work administer your users, their preferences, and templates.
We hope we've answered most of your questions in these web pages. But if not, just email us 24 hours a day
or give us a call at 1-866-6SCRIBE during normal business hours. One of our account managers
will be glad to assist you.
User Administration
If you have permission, you can manage a wide variety of items for your users. This includes things like adding/deleteting/changing user names and groups, resetting passwords, and
setting group defaults. If you do not see an Admin tab when logging into the Scribe platform you do not have permission to administer your users. If you'd like to
find out how you can gain permission call the customer service department or contact your account manager.

Template Administration
One of the important aspects of the Scribe platform is the ability to have "templates" and "macros" setup for your users. If you have permission, you
can manage your users templates by going to the Reference Tab and choosing either the "templates" or "macros" link on the left.
Contact Administration
Individual users can manage their list of contact information that will be used by MTs during transcription and is
available for users to use in sending faxes and emails. If you have a substantial amount of contact addresses you can fill out an
Excel spreadsheet that will allow us to add/update your contact information in batch mode. Once you've filled out the spreadsheet
you can contact customer service or your account manager for further instructions on updating your contact information.

Preference Administration
All users have the ability to set their own preferences. The following items can be set by going to the Preferences tab and clicking
on the appropriate link on the left:
- General - number of documents in the list per page.
- Document - preferences for headers/footers for text only users.
- Login - change your web site or dictation system password.
- Forwarding - decide whether you want copies of your transcriptions forwarded to a fax or email.
