Scribe Direct is a program designed to upload files from a digital recorder to the Scribe Platform with little assistance from the user.

 

Installation Prerequisites:

 

Must Have Administrative rights on the PC

User Must Have Dictating Permissions on the Admin Platform

The Handheld Recorder must be recognized as an External USB Drive when attached to PC

 

In addition, it is assumed that the computer that the software is installed on has:

1.A permanent connection to the Internet.
2.Permission to use SSH FTP protocol to connect with an external FTP server through any firewall or router.
