IE Setup for Scribe

 

For MD and MT Platform Users

1.Enable Scribe as a Trusted Site:
a.Go to Tools Internet Options on the menu
b.Click the Security Tab
c.Click Trusted Sites
d.Click the Sites Button
e.In the “Add this Web site to the zone:” box put *.scribe.com
f.Make sure that the “require server verification (https: ) for all sites in this zone” box is not checked.
g.Click the add button, then the OK button.

 

NOTE: IE updates can clear your trusted sites, interfering with printing. If you experience printing issues after a recent IE update, please repeat the steps above to ensure trusted site status for Scribe.

 

For MD Platform Users who Print:

1.Adjust Security Settings for Trusted Sites Zone:
a.Go to Tools Internet Options on the menu
b.Click the Security Tab
c.Click Trusted Sites
d.Click the Custom Level Button
e.Under Active X Controls and plug-ins: Click Enable or Prompt for the “Initialize and Script Active X Controls Not Marked Safe For Scripting setting.” With “Enable” you will not be prompted each time you go to print about active x controls – if you choose to click prompt then you will be prompted to confirm you want to let the active x control print each time.
f.Under Miscellaneous: Click Enable for the “Don’t Prompt for client certificate selection when no certificates or only one certificate exists.”
